ABOUT THE CLASS
If you have never attended one of my Cardiff wreath making classes before then let me tell you all about them.
You get to while away a couple of creative hours, make your very own individual wreath with the guidance needed by me, Anne-Marie. Whilst listening to some Christmas tunes, smelling the mulled wine heating in the kitchen and sampling my mince pies. (Caveat - these are shop bought, I will save you all from my baking!)

I love coming to Anne-Marie’s wreath classes, so much so that I think this will be my 5th year in a row! Even managed in 2020 - outside and socially distanced :-)
It’s such a lovely, creative way to get into the festive spirit. I usually come along with a friend, or my Mum, or both! A peaceful couple of hours chatting, drinking mulled wine or a cuppa, Buble & Mariah in the background, making something gorgeous to bring Christmas to my front door.
Anne-Marie is the best teacher, very patient (essential when you’re a perfectionist like me!!). There is always a great intro from her into each step of the making, then she’s around everyone with help and tips as you need them.
I really appreciate having a local workshop to go to, and that I can make my own wreath in a traditional, sustainable way. No plastic or floral foam, just moss, wire and locally foraged greenery. I have been known to reuse a bauble or two from previous years too!

The classes will be held at The Scout Hut, Castle Close, Creigiau.

Saturday 2nd December 11-1 - FULL

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How long does the class last? It usually takes around 2 hours, perhaps a little longer.
Do I need previous experience? Not at all. I give step by step instructions at each stage of the class and give guidance throughout.
Do I need to be artistic? No. You will be amazed by what you create, everyone always is.
Do I need to bring anything? You will be provided with everything you need to make your own wreath. But if you want something in particular then feel to bring it along. For example if you want a wreath full of red berries then you will need to bring them with you.
How long will the wreath last? The wreath will last well into Christmas and the New Year. Some of my students have dried out their wreaths and kept them for years!
What if I struggle to make the wreath? I will help you. I have never had a student not able to make a wreath and be happy with their creation.
The cost is £47.50.
I ask for payment in full at time of booking.
This includes everything you need to make you beautiful wreath. Tea and coffee, mulled wine and mince pies.

OTHER THINGS TO KNOW
There is plenty of parking at the venue. Creigiau also has a local pub which is a few minutes walk from the venue which you could go to for a drink. If you want to make more of a day of it.
We also have Caeser’s restaurant a few minutes drive away.
The Scout Hut has a small ramp to the door which is suitable for wheelchair users.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are unable to attend your Cardiff Christmas wreath making class I will not be able to give refunds but fear not, you will still get to make your wreath. I will provide you with your own kit which contains everything you need to make your wreath and an instruction video.
