Cardiff Christmas Wreath Classes 2022
I can’t believe it’s this time already! But I am ready to put my sparkles on and get in the holiday mood, would you like to join me?

This will be my eleventh year of running these classes, so if you are looking for the perfect festive treat then these wreath classes are for you!

SUSTAINABLE CHRISTMAS WREATHS
I run these Cardiff Christmas wreath classes as sustainably as possible.
You will make your very own traditional moss based wreath filled with locally sourced seasonal foliage and beautiful festive extras.
I do not use any floral foam, or sprayed/dyed/bleached foliage or flowers.
The workshop will be filled with a huge selection of Christmas floral goodies for you to choose from. There will be mulled wine, mince pies and Christmas tunes, to help get you in the mood. I guarantee that you will leave the class full of Christmas Cheer!

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM THE CLASS
The sessions typically start with a cup of tea or coffee whilst everyone takes their seats and arrive.
Once everyone is seated, I will give a little introduction about me and the tradition of Christmas wreaths.
The classes are roughly broken into 3 sections.
Stage one: You will add the moss to your wire frame.
Stage two: You add the foliage; there will be a variety of locally sourced foliage to use - ivy, cedar, eucalyptus, pine, laurel and more
We usually have a small break at this stage where you can enjoy some mulled wine and mince pies and have a little chat.
Stage 3: You attach the extra decorative pieces - pine cones, orange slices, floral bits, baubles, bows.
You then sit back and bask in the glory of your creation.
Before you leave you will have to do the shake test to make sure that your wreath will stand the test of time.

The classes will be held at The Scout Hut, Castle Close, Creigiau.

I have kept the price the same this year as I have the last few years. I appreciate that these classes are a luxury and I am so grateful to everyone who attends. The cost is £45.

OTHER INFORMATION
Petal Power will provide all the flowers and equipment you need.
You will takeaway the design you have made during the workshop and best of all, no need to clear up.
You don’t need any experience arranging flowers and please don’t worry if you’re not artistic as I will show you the basic techniques and will give guidance along the way. What better way to have a relaxing couple of hours, enjoying the beauty of flowers.
Just like last year I have some extra steps in place for your health and safety.
There will be anti-bacterial gel available at the entrance and ‘shopping’ area stations.
If you are not comfortable being sat next to someone not in your party or even with-in your own group booking, just let me know and I will ensure there is a comfortable 2 metre distance between you.
I ask for payment in full at time of booking.
If you are unable to attend the Cardiff Christmas wreath classes you will still get to make your wreath. I will provide you with your own wreath kit. Inside will contain all the products needed to create your personalised wreath. I will also provide you with a video instructing how to make your wreath in the comfort of your own home.
You will need to inform me of non-attendance before the class starts. I will not be able to put a kit together after the class has started.
Alternatively, you can get someone else to take your place.
