Luxury summer wedding flowers at Llanerch Vineyard
I can’t believe I have waited so long to share this wedding with you all. It was the most beautiful wedding and I am so happy I got to play a part in it. I don't know about you but these beautiful colours make me feel all romantic and loved up. If you are thinking of using marsala and blush tones in your wedding flowers then this is worth a read.
Lauren and Dom were married on one of the hottest days of last summer in one of the most stunning wedding venues of South Wales. Llanerch Vineyard is nestled in the quiet Welsh countryside only 20 minutes from Cardiff city centre. It is surrounded by woodland and a working vineyard and is always a pleasure to work at.
Like many others Lauren and Dom had to postpone their wedding due to the pandemic but gosh, it was worth the wait. When we first met Lauren came to me with amazing ideas, she wanted lots of deep, rich colours, lots of texture, nothing too rigid or formal. She was open to the choice of flowers and was super easy to work with. I loved her ideas and couldn’t wait to get started.
These photos from the lovely Natalie at Fox Photography are just wonderful, as you will see. I absolutely loved this wedding, it was an absolute pleasure working with this gorgeous couple on their big day.

Luxury summer wedding bridal bouquets
Lauren wanted to have rich, deep coloured, luxurious flowers for her bouquets in these beautiful marsala and blush tones; she was really trusting with the designs and was open to my suggestions. I focused on using lots of different types of flowers to add texture and interest, if you have looked at any of my other work you will find this is definitely my style. Here I used the beautiful ‘Hearts’ and ‘Quicksand’ roses, ‘Bridal Piano’ spray roses, Eustoma, ‘Blueberry Scoop’ scabiosa, ‘Ivannetti’ burgundy dahlia, astilbe and eucalyptus & fern greenery. I added a touch of eucalyptus too. It was a beauty.
The bouquet really complimented the simplicity of Lauren’s stunning dress and beautiful up-do. Just perfection.
Her beautiful bridesmaids carried bouquets slightly smaller in size.
Groomsmen flowers
The men wore these beautiful buttonholes of ‘Quicksand’ roses and astrantia from the bridal bouquets with added Dianthus - a perfect wedding flower used to symbolize feelings of love, affection, gratitude and admiration. How adorable.
Llanerch Vineyard reception wedding flowers
Lauren and Dom said their wedding vows at a church and held the wedding reception at the gorgeous Llanerch Vineyard. Flowers were an important part of the wedding for these two. The showstopper of the marquee was these overflowing garlands tied to the beautiful light shades, they helped to frame the room and introduce the foliage theme. They were so effective and are a perfect place of the marquee to add flowers.
Lauren’s Dad made the boxes for the table centrepieces which I then filled with flowers, each table was named after a cake flavour with the name printed on the cute blush pink perspex signs.
Luxury summer wedding top table flowers
The top table was decorated with a luscious, eight foot long, thick mixed foliage runner with added flowers. A simple moon arch with a small floral section sat behind the table. As always, no floral foam was used in any of the reception floral designs.
This marquee is always such a wonderful space to dress, with the surrounding beautiful views this venue is truly hard to beat.
Wedding cake flowers
The cake was a real statement piece and was made by Lauren herself! Clever lady. I added a cascade of fresh bridal flowers to the stunning cake which really emphasized it’s beauty. I wouldn’t have been able to cut it although I bet it tasted delicious!
It was such fun being a part of this stunning luxury summer wedding at Llanerch. It was a real dream to work with this beautiful couple.
Thank you for the stunning photos from Fox Photography, I truly found it so difficult to choose which ones to use, you can see why.
