Rosedew Farm spring wedding flowers
I have the most beautiful seasonal spring wedding flowers to share with you today. Kate and Joe were married on a beautiful March Day, in one of the most stunning wedding venues in South Wales. Rosedew Farm is a family run working farm in the beautiful South Welsh coast - only a five minute walk from the beach, and a 10 minute walk to Llantwit Major. It is such a lovely venue and I have been lucky enough to work there many times. I can’t believe Rosedew Farm hasn’t featured on my blog before.

I first met Kate when she came to one of my Christmas wreath classes, I remember her being interested in the way I run my business with sustainable practices. When she reached out to discuss her wedding flowers I was, of course, thrilled to be a part of their wedding day.
This entire wedding was created without floral foam. All the vessels are sustainable. You can learn more about my journey in the #nofloralfoam movement here.

Seasonal spring pink wedding bouquets
Kate’s bridal bouquet was full of seasonal loveliness in shades of pink and a touch of peach. I used ranunculus, tulips and scabious seasonal spring blooms. A few peachy spray roses, some allium, fragrant freesias and dried lavender were a lovely addition. Silver foliage finished the look. The bouquets were lush yet delicate, capturing the fresh beauty of spring. They perfectly complemented her bridal gown.
The bridesmaids carried smaller versions of the bridal bouquet.

Buttonholes for the groomsmen
The men wore foliage buttonholes with astrantia and dried lavender. Joe wore the same but with extra peach roses that matched the bridal flower bouquets.

Kate and Joe asked me to decorate the driftwood arch from Rosedew Farm as the ceremony focal point at the top of the wedding aisle. As always, I used a moss ‘sausage’ as the base and filled it with seasonal Spring blooms. The floral arch served as the perfect backdrop for the lovely couple to say their vows.
A jar of spring flowers sat on the registry table, this was then reused on the reception guest tables.

The aisles were lined with gorgeous, natural displays of spring wedding flowers that mirrored the bridal bouquets. These were then moved to the guest tables for the wedding breakfast.
Dotted around the barn were zinc buckets of planted rosemary, as were displays of eucalyptus and dried stems.

Rosedew Farm spring wedding reception
The reception tables were adorned with the displays from the ceremony aisle; these gorgeous jars full of seasonal spring blooms sat alongside vases of floating candles, when lit these created a warm, inviting atmosphere. A generous flat lay of eucalyptus foliage finished the look.

Kate and Joe’s wedding was a true celebration of spring brought to life through thoughtful choices in their floral arrangements. Their use of seasonal blooms added to the unforgettable charm of their special day.
This is the messade they sent after the wedding:
“Still not over my bouquet or any of the other flowers. Thank you so much for capturing exactly what we wanted for our special day so well.”
