So, those who have been before will know, my Cardiff Christmas wreath workshop is a lovely way to get festive. Nibble on mince pies, drink mulled wine, listen to Christmas carols, (or my preference, a little bit of Bing Crosby’s Christmas album) but most importantly have everything on hand to make your very own, bespoke, beautiful wreath.
But you don’t want to hear what I have to say!
Some of my attendees have been coming for years and I honestly don’t know what is a greater compliment than a loyal, returning customer.
So, this year I thought I would ask a few of my precious wreath makers to write a few words about my wreath workshops and obviously to say how awesome I am.

This is what Sarah has kindly written about one of my Cardiff Christmas wreath workshops.
I have lost count of the number of years I have been going to Anne-Marie’s wreath classes. The one I remember most vividly was outside, under a marquee and socially distanced, and so much fun. The heavens opened but nothing could deter me from making my wreath! I have attached some pictures, just look at the joy on my face.
I always leave the classes feeling so happy and full of Christmas spirit. The mulled wine and mince pies help!
Anne-Marie is a great teacher. She is always on hand to offer the help and guidance I need. And yes, even after all these years I still need a little bit of support.
I am so pleased that Anne-Marie's classes are run in a sustainable way. No plastic, fake flowers or floral foam. Just moss, thin wire and locally sourced greenery. I love that we are always encouraged to keep our wreaths and reuse them. One year I will have a go at the spring wreath that Anne has written a blog about.
All the flowers and equipment you need to make a wreath is provided for you and best of all, you don’t have to tidy up

I love coming to Anne-Marie’s wreath classes, so much so that I think this will be my 5th year in a row! Even managed in 2020 - outside and socially distanced :-)
It’s such a lovely, creative way to get into the festive spirit. I usually come along with a friend, or my Mum, or both! A peaceful couple of hours chatting, drinking mulled wine or a cuppa, Buble & Mariah in the background, making something gorgeous to bring Christmas to my front door.
Anne-Marie is the best teacher, very patient (essential when you’re a perfectionist like me!!). There is always a great intro from her into each step of the making, then she’s around everyone with help and tips as you need them.
I really appreciate having a local workshop to go to, and that I can make my own wreath in a traditional, sustainable way. No plastic or floral foam, just moss, wire and locally foraged greenery. I have been known to reuse a bauble or two from previous years too!
Looking forward to this year.

I have been running these classes for eleven years, that’s how much I enjoy them! If you want a couple of hours of the ideal festive activity then my wreath workshops are for you!

I have kept the price the same this year as I have the last few years. I appreciate that these classes are a luxury and I am so grateful to everyone who attends. The cost is £45.

OTHER THINGS TO KNOW
No previous experience is needed and please don’t stress if you think you are not creative. I will show you how to make a wreath and will give guidance along the way. I can’t think of a better way to feel festive for a few hours.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are unable to attend your Cardiff Christmas wreath workshop I will not be able to give refunds but fear not, you will still get to make your wreath. I will provide you with your own kit which contains everything you need to make your wreath and an instruction video.
