White wedding flowers at New Country House Hotel with Leasha and Steve
If you are thinking of having a white wedding flowers for your day then I have the most beautiful wedding flowers to share with you today. Leasha and Steve were married on a beautiful, warm, July day in one of the most stunning wedding venues near Cardiff. New Country House Hotel is a luxury wedding venue just 15 minutes from Cardiff. The Grade 2 listed New House is a serene and romantic country pile, a perfect venue for a beautiful wedding.
When I first met Leasha she knew exactly what she wanted for her wedding day. She wanted all white wedding flowers for her bouquets. She wanted to carry a compact bouquet of the most perfect peonies, her favourite flower. Flowers were an important part of their wedding and both Leasha and Steve wanted an abundance of flowers everywhere. These photos from Ryan Welch Photography are just wonderful, as you will see. I absolutely loved this wedding; it was an absolute pleasure working with this gorgeous couple on their big day.
Now feast your eyes on this blog for some serious wedding inspiration!
White wedding flowers bridal bouquets at New Country House
Leasha wanted a classic, white wedding flowers bouquet, tightly packed bouquet full of peonies. She had a clear vision of the look she wanted. Not open peonies, but those just starting to open; you can see the petals just starting to push through. To achieve this look, I had to keep an extremely close eye on the flowers. I had to buy far more than the quantity needed for Leasha’s bouquet, but we did use these other peonies throughout the wedding venue. The effect is so stunning and suited Leasha’s dress perfectly. A classic looking, beautiful bride.
The bridesmaids carried compact bouquets of white wedding flowers full of pure white roses which complimented their soft pink, full length dresses.
Flower girl crown
The flower girl really stole the show wearing her full floral crown. How incredible does she look? This crown is fully wired to ensure it is kept light and wearable. Ensuring these picture-perfect moments.
Reception wedding flowers at New Country House
The reception tables at New Country House Hotel were decorated with these tall, domed floral arrangements. These were packed full of ivory and pink flowers including hydrangea, peonies, achillea, sweet peas and roses. They added a real wow factor to the tall marquee ceilings. To keep costs down alternative tables were dressed with tall candelabras.
The top table was dressed with a long and low arrangement in keeping with the other venue flowers. The bridal bouquets sat across the length of the table. The tables were finished off with these beautiful frilled chair covers pinned with a diamante brooch supplied by MST Events.
This New Country House marquee is always such a wonderful space to dress, with the stunning views spanning across the mountains this venue is hard to beat.
This is what Leasha thought of her wonderful wedding day.
What do you think? Would you choose white wedding flowers for your bouquets like Leasha and Steve? It was such fun being a part of this wedding.
Thank you for the beautiful photos from Ryan Welch Photography. I found it hard to choose which ones to use, that’s why there are so many.
