Winter Wedding Flowers Inspiration
Whatever the time of year you're planning get married, carrying a beautiful bouquet of flowers down the aisle is a must. If the season doesn’t have a tonne of options to choose from at the time of your wedding, you can have a bouquet of your dreams on your wedding day. And if you want those pretty flowers to reflect your wedding season, then you're in luck because this blog is full of winter wedding flowers inspiration.
It is always best to start with the colours that feel most reminiscent of the time of year. For the colder months, my go-to’s are deep reds, luscious greens, snowy white and of course classic blue. The easiest way to "winterize" your bouquet is by selecting in-season additions, like evergreen sprigs, berries, or acorns. These little touches help bring that festive feeling to your bouquet.

Winter Wedding Flowers inspiration with a pop of lilac.
This was such a beautiful wedding, one of my favourites. Catrin and Elliot were married on a stunning winters day at the wonderful Canada Lodge. Catrin wanted to carry a seasonal bouquet with a rich colour palette; lots of burgundy and reds with touches of lilac and blue. I used a variety of different roses all meeting the rich colour theme, the tones were perfect for winter wedding flowers and really suited Catrin.

Embrace Red Winter Wedding Flowers.
You simply can't go wrong when mixing large red roses with spikey blues and lush greenery. These winter wedding flowers are especially elegant, featuring large red Explorer roses, deep greenery Black Baccara, and accents of blue alongside the silver Brunia berries, pinecones and Eycalyptus. This was a stunner of a bouquet and was a must to include for Winter wedding flowers Inspiration!
Snowy white Winter wedding flowers inspiration.
If you didn’t want to embrace the seasonal reds then this is another winter wedding flowers inspiration option. The pastel pinks, silvers and snowy whites make the ideal winter wedding flowers. Seasonal touches such as the silver Brunia berries and Dusty Miller foliage, white Eryngium, Anemones and Narcissi ensure this bouquet is easily recognisable as a Winter bouquet. These touches blend well with the Quicksand and white Avalanche roses. Such a beautiful and timeless bouquet.
All white Winter wedding bouquets.
Have you considered an all white bouquet for your Winter Wedding flowers? While we know all-white bouquets fit with every season, there's something especially appealing about a classic bouquet this time of year. Here white Snowflake spray roses, Calla lilles, Astilbe, Astrantia and Lambs Ear foliage give this bouquet a fluffy, delicate feel, reminiscent of snow!. I love how this bride's shoes added some glam to this wonderful wedding. A classical bouquet for the wonderful Cardiff Castle venue.
Go for green winter wedding flowers inspiration.
Evergreens are associated with winter for a reason. Take a cue from the season and do your own take on a seasonal bouquet by using an all greenery base. For this bouquet I used delicate astrantia and viburnum berries and lots and lots of textured greenery. You may be concerned that an all foliage bouquet could be a little boring, this bouquet shows that is not the case. Pine and pine cones, eucalyptus, cedar, ivy, silver brunia and asparagus fern made sure this bouquet hits the winter wedding flowers inspiration brief! Another pretty bouquet to influence you.
Seasonal Winter Wedding flowers inspiration.
Do you know which seasonal blooms are available for your Winter wedding flowers? For this wedding at Miskin Manor I used richly coloured Anemones in reds and purples, white Ranunculus, a few Roses and some Genista. Does it remind you of a box of Quality Street? Me too. The bouquet really suited this classic wedding gown and the grandeur of the manor house venue.
Eucalyptus Winter Wedding flowers.
How beautiful is this bouquet? So simple but so effective. An overarm bouquet full of silver eucalyptus and tied off with trailing blue ribbon. The simplicity of the bouquet and dress, alongside the red lip and natural hair is superb. Effortlessly elegant.
